ADAM SHAPIRO

Founder & Chairman
Cornell University '20

Born and raised in Montreal, Adam Shapiro founded Start-Up Nation Mentorship during his sophomore year at Cornell University. Adam sought to create an initiative that would provide transformative career opportunities to students from all backgrounds and bridge geopolitical divides on college campuses. Adam now lives in New York City and works at a global investment firm.

JUSTIN SHAPIRO

Co-Founder & Board Member
University of Toronto Medical '23

Born and raised in Montreal, Justin Shapiro is a resident physician in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Western University. He received his MD in 2023 from the University of Toronto, where he completed a concurrent MSc in Health System Leadership & Innovation. During his undergraduate studies at Western, he served on the university’s Board of Governors and Senate, the school’s two highest authoritative bodies. Justin plans to pursue a career at the nexus of surgery, research and innovation.

BEN SPILG

Vice Chairman
McGill University '22

Ben Spilg is the Vice-Chairman at Start-Up Nation Mentorship, having previously served as CEO for two years. He graduated from McGill University in 2022 with concentrations in Strategy and Analytics and interned in marketing at WalkMe. Ben currently studies at the Machon Shlomo Yeshiva in Jerusalem.

ANNABELLE PUNDAKY

Chief Executive Officer
University of Western Ontario '24

Annabelle Pundaky is a fourth-year student at the University of Western Ontario and Ivey Business School studying Mechatronic Systems Engineering and Business Dual Degree Program. She is interning at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a data scientist on the Artificial Intelligence Mars Rover Team. Annabelle was born and raised in a small city in Canada, London, Ontario and has a deep-rooted passion and dedication to SUNM’s mission.

JAIME LEO MIZRACHI

Chief Product Officer
Stanford University '24

Jaime is a rising Senior from Panama studying Management Science & Engineering, minoring in History, and doing a Masters in Computer Science. In the past, he worked in the Panamanian Chamber of Commerce, founded a start-up, and served as a Venture Capital Analyst at the Sony Innovation Fund in Tel Aviv. Jaime is currently interning at McKinsey in their Miami office focused on financial services and technology. In his free time, Jaime fences for Stanford D1 Men's Epee team and enjoys hiking.

ALEXANDRA FINKLESTEIN

Chief Technology Officer
University of Michigan '24

Alexandra Finkelstein is a student at the University of Michigan studying Computer Science and Computational Cognitive Science. She has interned at Amazon Robotics and well as at an Israeli Hi-tech startup where she found her love for connecting eager students with Israeli companies. Alexandra enjoys hiking, physics, hosting Shabbat dinner, and being an older sister.

SAM MOSES

Chief Financial Officer
McGill University ‘24

Samuel Moses is a Junior at McGill University studying finance. In addition to being a Head Analyst at the McGill Investment Club, Samuel has completed two summer internships at the Royal Bank and the National Bank of Canada. After developing a keen interest in Blockchain and Web3, he shifted his focus and is currently supporting a start-up to sharpen his critical thinking and connect with interesting individuals. Outside of academics, Samuel can be found exploring Montreal’s restaurant scene and water skiing in cottage country.

DANIEL AGMONI

Duke University '25

Daniel Agmoni is a rising Junior at Duke University from Japan and Israel. He is currently the COO of Start-Up Nation Mentorship and was previously the Duke Campus Director. He most recently interned for an investment firm in Tokyo, Japan. In his free time Daniel enjoys skiing, traveling and playing soccer.

SARAH HENNICK

Chief Marketing Officer
University of Western Ontario '24

Sarah Hennick is a rising Senior at the University of Western Ontario, majoring in accounting at Ivey Business School, working towards a CPA designation. She is currently working at an investment firm in Toronto called Research Capital. Aside from academics, Sarah has a passion for positively impacting Israel with her involvement in the not-for-profit Future Holders. She is eager to join the SUNM team and can’t wait to bring innovation and creativity as incoming CMO.

DEAN MEYER

Chief Growth Officer
IDC Herzliya ‘20

Dean is an investor at Team8 Capital. Before joining Team8 he worked in the investments team at OurCrowd where he led their investments in early-stage deep-tech and enterprise software. Prior, Dean was a Junior Data Scientist at MyTopDog, a leading Ed-Tech company. Dean holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, finishing with high distinctions. Before Dean’s academic and professional career, he played professional soccer at Ajax Amsterdam in Holland and Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.

CAMI TUSSIE

Board Member
Harvard University Dental School ‘25

Cami Tussie is a third year dental student at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Born in Buenos Aires and raised in South Florida, Cami received her B.S. in Bioengineering from Stanford University as a member of the Class of 2021. She has been extremely involved in Jewish life, leading Stanford's Israel Association, Jewish Student Association, and taking part in many non-profit Jewish organizations; she was a Ronald S. Lauder Fellow, a Stand With Us Emerson Fellow, and an ICC Grinspoon Fellow. Cami was initially a Stanford campus director for SUNM and then acted as the COO for the organization. She is fascinated by entrepreneurship and innovation, specifically in dentistry and medicine, and views SUNM as a beautiful bridge between the start-up culture she loves and the Israeli ecosystem.

OLIVIA LEVINE

Board Member
Duke University '22

Olivia Levine is an investor at Lead Edge Capital. She is a graduate of Duke University where she studied Public Policy and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. While at Duke, she was on the executive board of TAMID, the first female president of Chabad at Duke, and pursued research in crime from firearms.

ELAN ARNOWITZ

Board Member
University of Michigan '21

Elan Arnowitz is an investor at Insight Partners and is based in New York City. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with a minor in history. Previously, he was an investor at Red Beard Ventures - an early stage crypto/web3 fund. He also worked on the information technology team at Marriott International. In his free time, Elan enjoys DJing, skiing, and traveling.

DANI SPRINGER

Board Member
McGill University '23

Dani Springer is a graduating student of the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, majoring in International Business and Strategic Management. She is also an active McGill Management Undergraduate Society (MUS) member, holding many executive positions, including Editor in Chief of the McGill Business Review. Since joining SUNM, Dani has served as both CMO and CEO and now hopes to use her appointment to the Board to further bring SUNM to exciting new heights. In the future, Dani plans to study law and use her degrees for the betterment of Israel.
